The Listening Path

Presence-based support for animals and households moving through change, sensitivity, and the conversations beneath behavior

Sometimes what is showing up on the surface is only part of the story.

A dog who has become watchful with visitors.
A cat who feels unsettled after a move.
An animal who seems to be carrying the ripple of grief, routine change, a new baby, travel, or an emotional undercurrent no one has quite named yet.

The Listening Path is a supportive pathway for animals and the people who love them when something feels tender, uncertain, or in transition. Rather than focusing only on visible behavior, this work listens to the whole ecosystem around your animal — their pacing and nervous system, the home environment, the human field, and the life changes that may be shaping what is unfolding.

A Quieter Way of Listening

The Listening Path is not about forcing a fix or moving faster than your animal’s nervous system can actually integrate.

It is about slowing down enough to understand what your animal may be responding to, what support feels most aligned right now, and how to create a steadier rhythm of care as life continues to shift.

This pathway can be supportive for animals and households moving through:

  • a move or major shift in routine

  • grief after the loss of an animal or person

  • changes in work schedules, travel, or who is home during the day

  • uncertainty around new people, visitors, or household activity

  • transitions such as a new baby, a new animal, or a growing family

  • behavior that feels like a conversation waiting to be understood more fully

It can also be supportive when your animal seems especially sensitive, watchful, hesitant, or deeply attuned to the emotional tone of the home.

How The Listening Path begins

In-Home Attunement & Field Mapping Session

$222

The first step in The Listening Path is an in-home session where I come into your animal’s world and listen more fully to what the animal, the home, and the household are showing in real time.

This is not a traditional training consult or a standard pet care visit. It is a threshold session — a place to pause, observe, and understand the larger picture before deciding what kind of support feels most aligned.

During this session, I may be listening for things like:

  • how your animal responds when I enter the space

  • pacing, distance, curiosity, settling, or hesitation in real time

  • how the home environment itself may be influencing comfort, safety, or regulation

  • whether there are deeper layers connected to grief, change, routine shifts, or emotional undercurrents in the household

  • what support rhythm, if any, feels most helpful moving forward

Session length: approximately 75–90 minutes

If ongoing support feels aligned after this first session, The Listening Path can continue through one of the pathways below.

Ongoing Listening Path support

These pathways are designed to offer a supportive rhythm rather than a one-and-done experience — giving your animal time to adjust, reveal more of what is happening beneath the surface, and be supported as life continues to unfold.

Hybrid Attunement Month

$444

A 4-week rhythm of support for what is current right now.

This is the shortest ongoing support container and can be a beautiful next step when you want support around a present transition without committing to a longer season just yet.

Includes:

  • 2 in-home attunement sessions

  • 1 remote Reiki session

  • 1 integration week

This pathway can be a good fit when:
You know something is actively shifting right now and want a steadier rhythm of support while still leaving space for the household and the animal to integrate.

3-Month Attunement Path

$1,333

A fuller season of support for animals and households moving through a deeper transition or needing a steadier rhythm over time.

This pathway is designed for situations where one month may open the door, but the support itself wants more room to unfold. It allows us to stay with what your animal is showing over a longer stretch of time, while also leaving room for the focus to shift as new layers come into view.

Includes:

  • 6 in-home attunement sessions

  • 4 remote Reiki sessions

  • integration weeks built in throughout the container

This pathway can be a good fit when:
The transition is more layered, the household is moving through an ongoing season of change, or your animal would benefit from a more held container than a single month can provide.

6-Month Attunement Path

$2,666

A deeper long-form support pathway for ongoing transitions, layered adjustment, or households wanting a more sustained rhythm of attunement and support.

This pathway offers the most spacious container for animals and families who are moving through a larger season of change or who know that what is unfolding is not a one-time moment, but a relationship and nervous system pattern that may want steadier support over time.

Includes:

  • 12 in-home attunement sessions

  • 8 remote Reiki sessions

  • integration weeks built in throughout the container

This pathway can be a good fit when:
There is a longer arc of transition underway, multiple layers are unfolding over time, or your household wants the most spacious level of continuity and support.

Why pathways instead of one-off support?

Animals don’t always reveal everything in a single visit.

Sometimes what is happening on the surface softens quickly. Other times, once the nervous system begins to settle, a deeper layer of grief, transition, uncertainty, or relationship pattern begins to show itself. In many cases, the most supportive thing is not simply one session of insight, but a steadier rhythm of presence that gives the animal and household time to adjust, integrate, and show what is truly needed.

The Listening Path is built with that in mind.

Rather than being based only on how quickly a human hopes something will shift, these pathways are designed to honor the pace at which animals often process change, rebuild trust, and settle into new rhythms.

A note about how these pathways work

The Listening Path is not meant to be rigid or overly fixed.

These pathways are designed to offer a supportive rhythm and container while still leaving room for us to adjust based on what is unfolding in real time — what your animal is showing, what may be shifting in your world, and what new layers may be coming into view.

That means the heart of the work stays the same, while the focus inside the pathway can evolve.

Sometimes a family begins because of one visible concern and, as the weeks unfold, realizes the deeper need is around grief, regulation, confidence, transition, or rebuilding trust in a changed environment. Sometimes what felt urgent softens quickly, and what remains is a quieter invitation to support the household in a different way.

The pathway gives us room to listen to what is current while also supporting what is still becoming clear.

Begin Where You Are

Every animal and every household arrive at this work from a different place.

Some families feel ready to begin with an In-Home Attunement & Field Mapping Session right away. Others know something is shifting but aren’t yet sure whether The Listening Path is the right fit or what level of support would be most helpful.

That’s why the best place to begin is with a short intake form.

The form gives me a chance to learn a little about your animal, your home environment, what has been unfolding, and what kind of support you’re looking for. From there, I can guide you toward the next aligned step—whether that’s beginning with the threshold session, exploring a pathway of support, or simply clarifying what feels most helpful right now.

You’re welcome to begin here if:

  • you feel ready to start with an In-Home Attunement & Field Mapping Session

  • you’re interested in The Listening Path but aren’t sure which level of support is the best fit

  • you’re noticing changes in your dog or cat and want to explore what may be happening beneath the surface

  • you’re outside my local service area and would like to explore whether a remote version of support may be possible

Not local to Arizona?

If you’re outside my local service area but feel drawn to this work, you’re still welcome to begin the intake form.

The local version of The Listening Path begins with an in-home Attunement & Field Mapping Session. For out-of-area families, support may look a little different and is currently shaped on a case-by-case basis. Depending on your animal, your household, and what support feels most aligned, that may include a blend of remote Reiki for the wider household ecosystem, Zoom-based guidance, voice-note or text touchpoints, and integration sessions.

That remote version of The Listening Path is still being shaped with care, but if something in this work resonates and you’d like to explore what support could look like from a distance, the intake form is the best place to begin.
