Our animals don't experience life in neatly separated categories.
A senior animal may also be grieving.
An animal whose behavior has changed may be responding to a shift within the household.
A family navigating a transition may simultaneously be learning new ways of listening to what their animal is communicating.
Pathways create space to accompany your animal over time rather than expecting everything to be understood within a single experience.
Your animal doesn't need to fit neatly within one Pathway.
Their needs may move between listening, transition and senior support as their experience changes.
The Pathway provides the container.
What happens within it can evolve alongside them.
Walk With Your Animal Through What Is Unfolding
Changes in behavior, engagement, routines or relationships can leave families asking:
Why are they doing that?
The Listening Path creates space to move beyond the behavior itself and become curious about what your animal may be experiencing.
Together, we may explore patterns, relationships, routines, environment, body language, choice, sensory experiences and the ways your animal communicates when we slow down enough to notice.
The intention is not to assign meaning to every behavior. It is to become better listeners.
Support within this Pathway may include observation, presence, Reiki, sensory exploration, environmental awareness, nervous-system support and practical ways of creating greater choice and connection.
🌿The Listening Path
When your animal seems to be telling you something—and you aren’t quite sure what it is.
Animals experience transitions alongside us.
Loss.
A move.
A new family member.
Someone leaving home.
Changing schedules.
Travel.
Illness.
Retirement.
A companion animal transitioning or no longer being present.
Even changes we consider positive can alter the familiar rhythm of an animal's world.
The Gentle Transition Journey creates space to acknowledge what has changed while supporting the animal and family as a new rhythm begins to emerge.
Support may include Presence & Connection, Remote Soul Reiki, Re-Engagement & Exploration, environmental support and other practices according to what is unfolding.
The intention isn't to return everyone to the way things were.
It is to support the relationship with what is becoming.
💛Gentle Transition Journey
Support when something familiar is changing.
Growing older changes things.
Pace may change.
Interests may change.
The length of a walk, preferred sleeping places, tolerance for activity and ways of connecting may all begin to look different.
In Step With Your Senior Pet creates space to remain curious about those changes rather than measuring your animal against who they used to be.
Together, we listen for what still brings engagement, comfort, curiosity, connection and choice.
Support may include Presence & Connection, sensory exploration, Remote Soul Reiki, environmental awareness, Re-Engagement & Exploration and experiences such as By Your Dog's Nose.
This isn't about asking your senior animal to keep up.
It is about learning how to walk beside who they are becoming.
🐾In Step With Your Senior Pet
Meeting who your animal is today.
Your animal may move between these experiences.
A senior dog may also be navigating grief.
An animal experiencing a household transition may begin communicating differently.
A behavioral change may eventually reveal an environmental or relationship component.
We don't need to decide everything at the beginning.
The value of an ongoing Pathway is having enough continuity to notice how the story changes.
One Animal. More Than One Path.
A Pathway is not a predetermined collection of individual services.
Depending upon your animal and circumstances, our work may draw from:
• Presence & Connection
• Reiki
• Remote Soul Reiki
• Re-Engagement & Exploration
• Sensory exploration
• Choice-based movement
• Sound and energetic support
• Environmental awareness
• Observation and intuitive attunement
• Family conversation and integration
Not every animal needs every tool.
The animal helps determine what belongs within the container.
How Support Takes Shape
Individual Pathway Experience
For families who want to explore one focused experience around a particular concern, change or stage in one session.
An Individual Pathway Experience gives us dedicated space to listen more deeply to what is happening now.
Depending upon your animal and what is unfolding, our time may include observation, conversation, presence, Reiki, sensory exploration, movement, environmental awareness or other forms of support that feel appropriate.
Sometimes one experience provides what is needed.
Sometimes it reveals something worth continuing to explore.
There is no expectation that it becomes something more.
Customized Pathway
For animals and families who would benefit from being supported over a longer period of time.
Rather than beginning with a predetermined number of sessions or a fixed way of working together, we create a rhythm around what your animal and family are navigating.
Support may unfold through a combination of in-person experiences, remote energetic support, conversation, observation, Zoom, voice-note or email reflection, and other forms of integration when appropriate.
The rhythm may be closer during periods of significant change and more spacious when there is time to observe and integrate.
Together, we create enough continuity to follow what is unfolding without requiring the journey to follow a predetermined schedule.
The Pathway provides the container.
The way we move within it can evolve.
Ways to Walk Together
You don't need to determine which Pathway fits before contacting me.
Tell me what you are noticing, what has changed and what is drawing your attention.
Sometimes the Pathway becomes clear immediately. Sometimes we discover it together.
