Embodied Connection Path
A guided path into living connection with your animal companion through awareness, presence, and shared experience
This is where the Listening Path begins to take form in your daily life with your dog or cat.
It is one thing to become aware of your own body, your energy, and your patterns.
It is another to begin living that awareness in real time—
in your home, in your movement, and in your relationship with your animal.
This path gently guides you into that experience.
Not through instruction alone,
but through moments of being, noticing, and allowing something different
to emerge.
A Living Practice
This is not something you learn once and complete.
It is a way of being with your animal that continues to deepen over time.
Each experience builds on the one before it, allowing you to feel the difference between reacting, managing, or controlling…
and simply being present in a way your dog or cat can respond to.
Nothing is forced.
Nothing is rushed.
You begin to recognize what is happening within you,
and how that shapes what your animal experiences.
How We Work Together
This path builds upon the Listening Path.
As your awareness of yourself deepens, we begin to explore what that looks like in direct relationship with your animal.
Each step is guided and experienced together,
so that what you are learning becomes something you can feel—not just understand.
Each step builds gently on the one before it.
STEP 1
Presence Practice
We begin by slowing down.
This is where you learn what it means to truly be with your animal—
without trying to fix, direct, or change anything.
You begin to notice:
how you enter a space
how your energy shifts
how your animal responds when nothing is being asked of them
This becomes the foundation for everything that follows.
STEP 2
Nervous System Reset Walk (with Guidance)
For those with dogs, we begin to bring this awareness into movement.
Walking becomes a reflection of what is happening within you.
You may begin to notice:
where you are holding tension
where you are trying to guide or control
how your dog responds to subtle shifts in your body and energy
This is not about correcting behavior.
It is about experiencing how connection changes movement.
STEP 3
Sanctuary Practice
This is the deepest layer.
Here, we move into stillness and shared presence.
You are guided into a space where:
your body softens
your energy settles
your animal is able to meet you in that calm
This is where connection becomes something you feel—
not something you try to create.
This Is Not Something Done For You
These experiences are guided,
but they are not something I do to or for your animal.
You are an active part of this process.
You are learning to:
notice
feel
recognize
and trust what is unfolding in your shared space
This is what allows the changes you experience to continue beyond our time together.
Who This Path Is For
This path may be a fit if you:
feel that your animal is responding to more than just training or routine
sense there is a deep level of communication happening
are open to becoming more aware of your own body, energy, and patterns
want to experience connection with your animal in a more grounded, present way
You do not need to have this figured out.
You simply need to be open to experiencing something different.
Where This Begins
For most, this path begins with the Listening Path.
It is there that you are guided into awareness of yourself—
your body, your energy, and your internal patterns.
From that place, this work begins to take shape in your relationship with your animal.
Begin where you are. Continue when you’re ready.
