Listening to the Quiet Voice: Why Dream Pet Care is evolving

For a while now, I've been recognizing that my inner voice is telling me to do something new in a different way than I have done in the past.

Some of that is showing up when I go into a household. There's a part where it is being with the individuals, whether that's the people or the animals or the energy of what is occurring.

And there's been a further message where my intuition is saying, okay, now it's time for us to leave. Yet the original perceived purpose or me being there hasn't occurred — and still my body and intuition is saying now's where we exit.

What I have come to realize is that what my body is sharing -- is for my own wellness, for its own way of keeping the internal fires going and for vitality that there's some pieces that needed to be released. Those pieces for me were centered around what we think of as traditional pet sitting or care

I can tell you that when that initially came up, I just sat with it and was like, well, what does that mean for me, where I am heading and what does that mean for you. It has taken several months to understand the nuggets and messages coming through--and more hiking, breathwork and pausing for me to be able to take the steps  for these shifts my body and intuition have been guiding me in.

The next question I asked was how was that shift to occur as it felt like it was affecting a large part of the structure and the foundational layers and saying let's revamp or remodel these so that it is something that serves our body for the next seasons whatever that looks like for where I am going next (and we don't always know what that next is fully) – it’s trusting and focusing on the joy that one feels in the process that is creating and building the new.

It became apparent that the time came for me to share externally, what had been going on internally for months. And as the ducks just shared on the pond before me, sometimes that is the step necessary to get other things moving forward and give yourself permission to listen to your own rhythm.

There’s been a lot of integration steps with experiences, emotions and pauses for me to feel into what my body needed to process to continue the forward momentum.

A decision that was announced to existing clients last week and one we'll be walking through for the next several months is one of those. And without taking that step, the rest can't fall into place. I likened this step to when you know you're ready to change or something new, you are identifying what has worked well, what I am grateful for, what I am moving away from and recognizing that on the inside it may feel differently than it's perceived from the outside.

For me, the added piece is feeling into how the different layers weigh upon the inner body, on the energy levels, and our own individual vitality.

Over the next 6 months Dream Pet Care's traditional pet services are being phased out and what's coming in is that which has been the aspects that are near and dear to my heart. Those that have often spoken in the quietest voices and moments — these presence-based experiences — and it’s what the beings I serve have continuously requested.

During the next several weeks, I will be sharing with you the shifts, the new coming in and what these will look like and the depth that your animal companions receive through the offerings.
